The Basto office chair is a unique solution for those who spend long hours at work. The design was inspired by the need to focus on work rather than adjusting sitting posture. The chair's unique properties include an ultra-thin backrest frame and a minimalist style design with quick operation. It adopts dynamic balance movement, and the seat and backrest swing synchronously. The seat can move 360° naturally with the body. A new cushion design aims to generate elasticity at the front end of the cushion, reducing pressure.

What sets Basto apart is its material composition. Seventy percent of the chair is made from nylon, and less than three percent is polyurethane. This results in a material recovery rate of 97%, making the chair an environmentally friendly choice. The chair's dimensions are 650 mm x 650 mm x 1160 mm.

The chair's design and functionality are the result of a year-long project. The project started in May 2019 in Foshan and finished in June 2020 in the same city. It was then exhibited in Guangzhou in July 2020. The main challenge was to balance the chair's elegant outlook with its comfort.

Basto's design is patented under Patent No.ZL201930612161.X, held by Mr. Joe in China since 2019.
